This recipe can be used for so many things: poured over ice cream, used as a chocolate topping on slices, the base for chocolate bark or simply set in cute moulds and eat as piece of delicious, guilt-free chocolate. The list is endless.

Raw Vegan Chocolate


3 Tbs coconut oil

2 Tbs maple syrup

2 Tbs cacao powder


  1. Place all ingredients in a double boiler on the stove, making sure the bowl is not touching the water.
  2. Heat on low and mix thoroughly until the coconut oil has melted and all ingredients are well combined ( the mixture will be a thin consistency).
  3. Place in desired moulds and allow to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.


  1. Melt coconut oil and maple syrup in the microwave in 30 sec increments until melted but not boiling. The time will depend on your microwave but approx. 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add cacao powder and mix until well combined and a smooth consistency. Allow to cool for a few minutes before using on top of other recipes.
  3. Place in desired moulds and allow to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
